Living with HIV for the past 17 years, Jokapeci Tuberi, also known as ‘Jokapeci Cati’ is an inspiration to many. After completing her studies, she was awarded the most outstanding Arts graduate with a major in Social Work at the University of the South Pacific.
She hopes that by obtaining the Gold Medal this will prove to those with HIV that anything is possible. HIV should never limit anyone but be a motivating factor to achieve more.
Ms Jokapeci Tuberi is the PLHIV Constituency representative on the PIRMCCM. Congratulations Tuberi!
