tongaTonga Family Health Association (TFHA) is the sub-recipient of the HIV/TB Global Fund grant managed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Based in Nukualofa, TFHA advocates for sexual and reproductive health, and works to raise awareness about the rising incidence of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and HIV in Tonga.

The majority of the TFHA clinics patients are people under the age of 25. On average, 15 to 20 patients are examined at the TFHA clinic each day, with 3 to 5 due to STIs.

TFHA provides services including testing and treatment for STIS, confidential counselling for HIV, pregnancy tests, antenatal care, condom and contraception distribution, and information and education regarding family planning and sexual health.
