The PIRMCCM logo is a visual representation of what the PIRMCCM is.

Trees are more important today than ever before. More than 10,000 products are reportedly made from trees. Through chemistry, the humble woodpile is yielding chemicals, plastics and fabrics that were beyond comprehension when an axe first felled a Texas tree.

It represents

  • Blue Weave – forms the beginning of the wave, the weave symbolises working together
  • Green Arrows – Investing in a healthier Pacific
  • Yellow Flowers – The three sub-regions in the Pacific: Melanesia, Micronesia, Polynesia
  • Red Stick Figures – Representative our Pacific Peoples and Families Living with the three diseases

The Logo was launched at the 2015 Annual PIRMCCM Meeting, in Nadi Fiji by a representative of the following constituencies:

  • Persons Living with the Disease (HIV Constituency)
  • Country Government Representative – Niue
  • Country CSO Representative – Marshall Islands
  • Multilateral/Donor Partners – DFAT

The logo was created by the late, Ms Emily Naidike a consultant graphic artist who operated under CreateSeven Inc.
